The content of our website has been compiled with meticulous care and to the best of our knowledge. However, we cannot assume any liability for the up-to-dateness, completeness or accuracy of any of the pages.

Pursuant to section 7, para. 1 of the TMG (Telemediengesetz – Tele Media Act by German law), we as service providers are liable for our own content on these pages in accordance with general laws. However, pursuant to sections 8 to 10 of the TMG, we as service providers are not under obligation to monitor external information provided or stored on our website. Once we have become aware of a specific infringement of the law, we will immediately remove the content in question. Any liability concerning this matter can only be assumed from the point in time at which the infringement becomes known to us.

Limitation of liability for external links

Our website contains links to the websites of third parties („external links“). As the content of these websites is not under our control, we cannot assume any liability for such external content. In all cases, the provider of information of the linked websites is liable for the content and accuracy of the information provided. At the point in time when the links were placed, no infringements of the law were recognisable to us. As soon as an infringement of the law becomes known to us, we will immediately remove the link in question.

Copyright

The content and works published on this website are governed by the copyright laws of Germany. Any duplication, processing, distribution or any form of utilisation beyond the scope of copyright law shall require the prior written consent of the author or authors in question.

Data protection/privacy

A visit to our website can result in the storage on our server of information about the access (date, time, page accessed). This does not represent any analysis of personal data (e.g., name, address or e-mail address). If personal data are collected, this only occurs – to the extent possible – with the prior consent of the user of the website. Any forwarding of the data to third parties without the express consent of the user shall not take place.

We would like to expressly point out that the transmission of data via the Internet (e.g., by e-mail) can offer security vulnerabilities. It is therefore impossible to safeguard the data completely against access by third parties. We cannot assume any liability for damages arising as a result of such security vulnerabilities.

The use by third parties of all published contact details for the purpose of advertising is expressly excluded. We reserve the right to take legal steps in the case of the unsolicited sending of advertising information; e.g., by means of spam mail.

Social media, plug-ins and links

We use social plug-ins of the social networks Twitter and Instagram on our website on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The responsibility for data protection-compliant operation is to be ensured by their respective providers.

Instagram

Our website uses so-called social plugins (“plugins”) from Instagram, which is operated by Instagram LLC, 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA (“Instagram”).

The plugins are marked with an Instagram logo, for example in the form of an “Instagram camera”.

When you call up a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Instagram servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Instagram directly to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, Instagram receives the information that your browser has called up the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have an Instagram profile or are not currently logged in to Instagram.

This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to an Instagram server in the USA and stored there. If you are logged in to Instagram, Instagram can directly assign your visit to our website to your Instagram account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the “Instagram” button, this information is also transmitted directly to an Instagram server and stored there.

The information is also published on your Instagram account and displayed to your contacts there.

If you do not want Instagram to directly assign the data collected via our website to your Instagram account, you must log out of Instagram before visiting our website.

For more information, please see the Instagram privacy policy .

Twitter

Our pages use services of the social online service Twitter. Twitter is operated by Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom Street, Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. By using the “Re-Tweet” function, which is done by pressing the “Tweet – Button”, a link is created between the website you have accessed and your user account on Twitter. This information is displayed to other Twitter users accordingly. We would like to point out that we unfortunately have no influence on the content and scope of use of the data collected by Twitter Inc. and refer you to the pages of Twitter Inc. for further information at: http://twitter.com/privacy. Furthermore, we would like to point out that you can make appropriate changes to your Twitter account to protect your privacy. More information https://twitter.com/de/privacy.

Youtube

This website contains at least one plugin from YouTube, part of Google Inc. based in San Bruno/California, USA.

We use the YouTube no-cookies function, i.e. we have activated extended data protection, videos are not accessed via youtube.com, but via youtube-nocookie.com.

YouTube itself provides this and thus ensures that YouTube does not initially save any cookies on your device. However, when the relevant pages are called up, the IP address and the other data mentioned in section 4 are transmitted and thus, in particular, information is given as to which of our Internet pages you have visited. However, this information cannot be assigned to you if you are permanently logged in to YouTube or another Google service when you access the page.

As soon as you start the playback of an embedded video by clicking on it, YouTube only saves cookies on your device through the extended data protection mode, which do not contain any personally identifiable data, unless you are currently logged in to a Google service. These cookies can be prevented by appropriate browser settings and extensions.
